Every day, young people carry more than anyone sees - pressure, fear, conflict, grief, responsibility, and choices that come too soon.
Wingman Mentors step in beside them, not above them.
We help young people change direction, before crisis hits, as crisis unfolds, and as they rebuild afterwards.
Young people are referred to Wingman by schools, safeguarding teams, youth services and community partners.
We also work with families who reach out early, especially when a young person needs positive role modelling or trusted support outside the home.
Donations and funding keeps this work alive — in schools, in the community, and in the moments that matter most.
Helps our mentors reach young people safely - in school, the community, or a neutral space where real conversations can happen
Supports refreshments, session materials, printing, and other essentials that build trust and consistency.
Provides creative and reflective resources that help young people express feelings, explore identity, and make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface.
Funds planning, safeguarding, coordination with professionals, and the tailored prep behind every session.
Delivers 1:1 creative or therapeutic diversion session — recording studio time, mixed-media art, sports drills, or confidence-building activities
Funds a full mentoring session plus all wraparound support needed to keep a young person safe, consistent, and supported
Supports the training and development of a new mentor in trauma-informed practice, safeguarding, creativity, and CPD.
Building stronger role models before crisis escalates
Funds a high-impact piece of delivery — a day of mentoring, a workshop, assemblies, or a tailored response to a school or community need.
A single intervention that can change the direction of a young person’s week
But too many are navigating pressure, violence, exploitation, fear and emotional storms — alone.
Some are being pulled into risky behaviours.
Some are carrying responsibilities no child should have to.
Some are trying to hold it together at school while their world shakes at home.
Often, they’re misunderstood, labelled or left to cope by themselves. That's where Wingman steps in — with time, tools, trust and real role models. Your support makes that possible.
If you’re an organisation, business or individual ready to go beyond a one-off donation, consider joining our 270 Partners initiative.
Whether that’s consistent mentoring support, sponsoring a full programme, or building long-term community impact — we’d love to talk.
